To view availability for tours starting after midnight, please select the next days date in the calendar above. Stargazing tours include 45 minutes of guided astronomy and storytelling using high-powered telescopes. Learn about the main features of the southern night sky and what they mean to Maori and Europeans from a mythological and navigational perspective. This tour will EITHER operate outdoors using both the naked eye as well as high-powered telescopes to explore the planets, galaxies and stars that are most prominent at the particular time of the year you are doing the tour, OR, we will give an exciting indoor guided tour using individual virtual reality headsets. Similar tour content will be delivered whether the tour is outdoors or indoors.
